![]() ![]() Ctrl-O/Open works as it should, double-clicking does not. Thus there is a problem with files added to a folder already open in browser. Xnview opens the image in a new tab as it should. Select "Open" from the right-click menu - or navigate to the new image and press Ctrl-O. when doing double clic on a foto the viewer will open, but the videos are filtered out, its only posible to see fotos, same on fullscreen, videos are filtered out B. Again the new file is there but misses a thumbnail.ġ1. when on thumbnail view doing double clic on a foto will open the viewer, but doing double clic on a video nothing happens, the video just plays on the preview window 2. Ubuntu opens its external image viewer and shows the image. Notice that Image_002.PNG is listed but no thumbnail shown. Close the image viewer tab, but keep Xnview running.ĥ. Xnview's internal viewer displays the image in a new tab. Use double click to open with associated program. The most noticeable one is probably its ability to view images in separate tabs. The task is to scan three images using Xsane into PNGs and then open each one using Xnview.ġ. This is how I could reproduce this effect on Linux x32. The problem is that sometimes double-clicking a thumbnail does not open Xnview's internal viewer but instead the OS'es standard external viewer for the kind of file selected even if it's a simple image file, in my case a PNG file.
